Company overview
Eightfold AI is a talent-intelligence platform built around a proprietary talent graph. Its product surfaces span candidate matching for external hiring, internal mobility recommendations for current employees, and career-site personalization for inbound candidates. The AI is the product — every customer-visible feature is model-driven.
Regulatory exposure
Matching and ranking systems used in hiring decisions fall under EU AI Act Annex III §4 — high-risk. Eightfold's surface area is broader than most vendors because the same models power external matching, internal mobility, and personalization, which means a deployer's FRIA needs to cover all three flows. NYC LL 144 applies to the candidate-ranking features used by NYC-based employers.
Path to a higher score
To move into the B band on this rubric, Eightfold would need to publish
(a) a model card for the talent-graph model covering training data,
validation, and subgroup performance, (b) a current NYC LL 144-style bias
audit, and (c) deployer documentation distinguishing the model's intended
use across external, internal, and personalization flows so a single FRIA
can map cleanly to each.
