- DocumentationCaptured Sep 25, 2026
The AI Recruiter product page names its scoring dimensions (skill correctness and depth, CEFR-scale communication, behavioural signals, code correctness and efficiency) and says each score comes with question-level reasoning, but it is marketing copy, not a model or system card.
- DocumentationCaptured Sep 25, 2026
The AI-era Assessments page says AI scores open-ended answers on seven named dimensions (conceptual understanding, relevance, accuracy, depth, completeness, reasoning, clarity) but gives no validation data or model documentation.

§ 05 - Editorial notes
Company overview
HirePro was founded in 2004 by Anshuman and Rishi Das and is based in Bengaluru. It sells hiring software and services through HirePro Technologies Pvt Ltd. Its AI Recruiter matches resumes to a job, shortlists candidates and runs AI-led interviews. Each answer is scored on skills, CEFR-level communication, 'behavioural signals' and code quality, and a check of more than 30 signals looks for fraud and confirms identity. HirePro also sells proctored aptitude, coding, functional and psychometric tests, video interviews and campus-hiring workflows, and it focuses heavily on campus and volume hiring in India.
Regulatory exposure
The AI Recruiter matches, shortlists and scores candidates. Employers using it for New York City roles would therefore likely need an annual independent bias audit and a candidate notice under Local Law 144, and DCWP has promised firmer enforcement after a December 2025 state audit. In the EU the tool is high-risk AI under Annex III point 4, with those obligations now due from 2 December 2027. Because the AI scores recorded interviews, Illinois' AI Video Interview Act also applies, alongside HB 3773, Colorado's SB 26-189 disclosure rules from 2027 and California's FEHA rules on automated-decision systems. HirePro publishes no bias audit, no EU AI Act material and no deployer guidance. It also does not define the 'behavioural signals' it scores, so EU deployers would need to confirm they involve no emotion inference, which has been banned in the workplace since February 2025. Its public strengths are security and privacy: a claimed ISO 27001:2022 certification, GDPR and DPDP Act alignment, and hosting in India, Singapore or Ireland.
Path to a higher score
The biggest gain would come from an independent bias audit of resume matching and interview scoring, with a named auditor, a date and impact ratios by sex and race/ethnicity. HirePro should publish it together with the method and results of its 'ten facets' ethics testing. HirePro should also publish a system card that defines each scoring dimension (including 'behavioural signals'), describes the training data and lists the attributes excluded from scoring. Human review of AI screen-outs and proctoring disqualifications should become a documented default. On the compliance side, HirePro should publish EU AI Act deployer guidance with a FRIA template, NYC notice guidance, a DPA, a subprocessor list and default periods for keeping recordings. Finally, it should add a public status page, a security.txt file and a changelog of model updates.
