Founded by Jacob Jacquet in May 2015 and run from Seoul under the US entity Rezi LLC, it sells an AI writer that drafts bullet points and summaries, a keyword scanner that matches a resume against a pasted job description, and a real-time "Rezi Score" out of 100. Around that core it has accreted a job board, an AI interview practice tool, a monthly human expert review on the Pro plan, and a free Chrome extension that autofills applications across major ATS platforms and tracks the resulting pipeline. Pricing is public and unusually simple: free tier, $29/month Pro, or a $149 one-time Lifetime plan. The product's honest centre of gravity is formatting hygiene rather than outcomes — a point Rezi's own documentation makes more candidly than its homepage does.
Regulatory exposure
The main job-seeker risks here are honesty and billing, not credential theft. Publishing a retention schedule, an encryption statement and a linked SOC 2 report — and removing the "Coming Soon" GDPR badge that contradicts its own privacy policy — would move data handling from adequate to genuinely well-documented.
